I love creating things and working with people. I want to do more of that in hopes of continuing to learn more about myself and others and ways we can work together for positive change. Prior to this venture I was making art, exploring and learning and that work is documented on instagram @otisbrand - I have some process videos of mural installations and other works here.

I did a project/ fundraiser to help raise funds for an environmental group called Amazon Frontlines, the project I did was called BUILD a BOXFORT - you can see that @buildaboxfort on instagram.

 We have a once in a lifetime chance to address the gaping holes in society and rebuild a world that works for everyone and not just the elite few. Total system overhaul, resisting systems that work to further the divide which poses great challenges for humanity. It’s all up for a much needed redesign, a great reimagining and the only thing standing in the way of this type of revolutionary process is ourselves.

 We must reflect on the privilege we have and the choices we make to use or ignore that power. That is the challenge and possibility of democracy.  Small, local, direct actions within our communities to challenge any policy which does not consider the priority of the natural world and its invaluable resources.

 Regeneration of institutions, and re-Wilding of our minds and actions in an effort to let nature lead us to a way of living that is not dependent upon exploitation of the earth and the majority of the people living on it. Uplifting and amplifying the voices of indigenous leaders/ stewards of the land to preserve and reinvigorate biodiversity on a global scale which is inherently tied to our own continued existence.

The potential for re-Wilding ourselves is limitless and we have the capacity to regenerate the way we exist to live more harmoniously with nature and all living things. I’m excited to grow things and disrupt the pace of modern life, opting for a slower and more meaningful experience.
